The GAZE I’m presenting in this article is about the gaze from inside a piece of artwork and how that GAZE affects the viewer. How do we relate to the eyes of the character(s) in a collage or painting or photograph?

Did you ever have a dream that just stayed with you long after the sleep leaves your eyes? Emotions triggered. Memories surfaced. As a collage artist, emotions and memories charge my imagination with energy. That energy leads my hands to gather images called forth by the dream. My intuition, intrigued by my emotions, guides me to pictures, vintage papers, colors, and symbols. Logical? Not yet. Magical? Absolutely!
